"Anna, taken on Kodak Tri-X 400 film with a Canon EOS 1N, appears in ten black-and- white shots here. Shot totally in natural light, the series emphasizes quiet times for meditation by use of shadow and gentle highlights to accentuate minute actions and expressions. The intention was to maintain the raw, unpolished photos while yet producing a unified, melancholy environment. Every photo was framed with little instruction to maintain the session's spontaneity and analog process authenticity.Passionate amateur photographer, I have always loved film photography for capturing events with vintage, timeless appeal. Though my initial love is movies, I really enjoy Fuji cameras' adaptability in my digital work. Though I mostly work on portraits, I occasionally delve into wedding photography to combine natural, artistic touch with honest emotions. Always learning, the craft of narrative via every frame drives me.
