One narrative behind her work that caught out the artist said was "a nun adopting a rebellious boy who grows up into a punk, embodying the struggles and love in their bond." Inspired by this, Kang added more images depicting events between the nun and the punk. Love finally links them even if their ideas and personalities disagree. It developed into a lovely investigation of how opposites may coexist via compassion and understanding.
